Linde Electronics receives EuroAsia IC Industry Award
Recognized for excellence in materials improvement category
Murray Hill, New Jersey, U.S., July 18, 2007 -- Linde Electronics, the global electronic gases business of The Linde Group, has received EuroAsia IC Industry Award for excellence in materials improvement.

The EuroAsia IC Industry Award recognizes improvements made to materials used for the manufacture of microelectronic devices. Linde Electronics, the worldwide leader in the supply of on-site fluorine generators, received the award for its Generation-F systems, designed to meet the semiconductor and display industries' chemical vapour deposition chamber cleaning needs.

Linde Generation-F systems combine proven technology with an intrinsically safe design, backed up by dedicated on-site support, to provide manufacturers with a safe and highly reliable source of pure fluorine for chamber cleaning.

Since qualifying the first Generation-F system in 2001, Linde has provided over 25 systems in 9 different countries, serving some of the worlds leading electronics manufacturers. Linde Electronics product development program continues to deliver significant cost of ownership and safety improvements, with new Fluorine generation products soon to be launched for PV Solar CVD chamber cleaning.
